Edged Weapons Defense

Delivered at the stunning Adero Scottsdale Resort where your family can enjoy the luxury and beauty of Scottsdale Arizona, this training is specifically designed for dignitaries and executives, this program of instruction provides you the skills for your protection and that of your family with and against an edged weapon. Teaching you defensive tactics, this course is NOT martial arts and this is NOT “knife fighting.” This IS a professional protective services approach to doing what it takes to handle a violent edged weapon attack utilizing your bare hands. This IS an opportunity for you to take home field-tested training from the defense intelligence community. No prior experience or other training required!

This course covers: What should I look for in a knife? How should it fit my hand? Accessibility (where and how to carry) and rapid deployment of a fixed, folding or improvised blade. Do’s and Don’ts of utilizing a blade in an active threat engagement; Protecting your lethal target areas; Real-world Scenarios (single/multiple threats); Managing the fateful Injury/Distance liability gap; Unarmed defense and disarming; Unarmed Defense versus an edged weapon plus a rare training block on how to use curved blades (Karambit) and other non-traditional edged weapons.
