I’ll never forget meeting Steve in Vegas in 2000 and seeing him present for the first time. I’m very fortunate to have contracted, worked, and partnered with him over nearly 25 years. I’ll add that Steve is also very benevolent. He’s presented me with so many opportunities, saw things in me that I did not. And I will never forget that.

I have trained with Steve Tarani for 17 years. Yes, he is a rock star, without the ego of a rock star. Train with him, you will not regret it. I never have.

I brought Steve in many years ago to teach my instructors. It was an absolute honor to meet and train with him. He left a lasting impression with me and the others in the class. Steve you are a class act.

Over and over thru the years I have watched and learned from this phenomenal individual during multiple classes. He is one in a million. He is real, and practices what he preaches. And he connects!

He is very humble and an approachable Trainer. Very impressive and he left training tactics in my head that I still reflect on today.

20 years ago I hired Steve to train my Marines in the art of edged weapons. It is part of MCMAP but typically not until Marines become Green or Brown belts. The Middle East is a knife and rifle culture. Most are very skilled with a knife from growing up butchering goats. Their rifle skills suck thankfully, but they love carrying an AK.

Anyway, Steve did about a half dozen train the trainer classes on edged weapons so Marines understood the lethality of someone with an edged weapon and the importance of dealing with them lethally quickly. I also asked him to develop and teach a program on long gun take aways in case the Marines found themselves on the wrong end of a rifle in close proximity.

Suffice to say they deployed multiple times as extremely lethal warriors capable and confident in handling individuals in close proximity. I am honored to call Steve a friend.

I very much enjoyed the presentation by Steve. He is a phenomenal wealth of knowledge and expertise. He navigated his presentation with an ease and rapidity like I have rarely seen demonstrated. He’s a true master-craftsman at his profession and it shows in the wealth of knowledge he provides with such brevity and clarity.
